There HE IS.
And HE IS looking at you.
But not just with HIS eyes,
for HE is reaching out HIS arms.
And you hear HIS whisper,
"COME".
One simple word,
that is an
INVITATION
to
"COME".
Do you "COME"?
Well, it depends who your
HE IS.
For who is HE?
HE IS JESUS.
Now this isn't rocket science,
as JESUS is not complicated.
And maybe that is the problem,
for why HIS simple INVITATION
to
"COME"
is way too simple.
And maybe that is why
JESUS never stops
asking ALL to COME,
in so many different ways.
TO COME~
"to move toward, travel toward, or approach something or somebody" (logos).
TO COME~
A continually forward motion that leaves one place to go to another.
TO COME~
"Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of
GOD in CHRIST JESUS"
(Philippians 3:13-14).
TO COME
to a better place that is like no other place you have ever been before.
For when you COME TO JESUS,
HE takes you to spaces and places that are
IMMEASURABLE MORE
than any other space or place you have ever been. For when you COME,
HE never leaves you dry~
"If anyone is thirsty, let him COME TO ME and drink!
He who believes in ME [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on ME], as the Scripture has said, ‘From his innermost
being will flow continually rivers of living water.’”
(John 7:37-38).
TO COME is TO ABIDE in JESUS,
for HIS well never runs dry.
Do you want PEACE?
COME~
"Peace I leave with you, _________________;
MY peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled, _______________. and do not be afraid"
(John 14:27).
Do you want FORGIVENESS?
COME~
"If you, __________________, confess your sins, HE is faithful and just and will forgive you, ______________, of your
sins and purify you from all unrighteousness"
(I John 1:9).
Do you want MORE?
COME~
"And your GOD, _________________-, shall fulfill every need of yours
according to HIS riches in glory in CHRIST JESUS"
(Philippians 1:19).
What do you NEED today?
Well, just
"COME TO THE WELL"
(listen to the song below)
