Day 17: Forgiven

BUT GOD does.

BUT GOD will.

BUT GOD can.

Because

JESUS DID.

JESUS DID the impossible

over and over again

and it still wasn't enough for some

to BELIEVE,

so they tried so hard to

prove JESUS wrong.

BUT JESUS

didn't have to prove anyone

that they were wrong

because

HE just did what only JESUS said HE would do.

HE walked the earth

once again

after being

hung on a cross

held up my nails

holding on through the pain.

JESUS DID what no man

could ever do.

HE ROSE

for me & for you & for everyone else.

There he was.

Saul

Hater of JESUS and anyone who followed JESUS.

BUT JESUS

showed up~

“Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”*

Could you imagine?

There you are.

Living your life.

And then the ONE who you are persecuting shows up

as a LIGHT so bright that you become blind.

It is way worse then getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar.

BUT Saul knows. He had to know

as he asked~

"Who are you, LORD?”*

And JESUS answered~

“I am JESUS, whom you are persecuting”*

Yikes!

You meet your master.

There HE is.

The ONE who was born to save you.

The ONE who you may DOUBT at times that HE is really on your side.

The ONE who so LOVES you that HE would die for you.

The ONE who is so very real,

who just wants to become so real in your life,

just as became so REAL

when

HE anointed Saul with a mission~

"This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles

and their kings and to the people of Israel"*(Acts 9)

Could you imagine

that the worse of the worst

admitted that he was the worse of the worst,

because he knew himself so well.

BUT it was because

JESUS knew Saul so well

that

HE chose to save the worse of the worst~

"Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: CHRIST JESUS came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst" (I Timothy 1:15).

Saul encounters the LOVE of JESUS CHRIST

that covers him with FORGIVENESS that fits like a glove

that he wore for the rest of the life

as he

became one of "them", those whom he used to persecute.

He was born anew with the name of Paul

who penned 13 books of the bible.

For once you encounter JESUS,

who saved even the worse of the worst,

you are never the same

because you are never the same~

"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.

The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I don't know how Paul did it.

He didn't carry around his past like a scarlet letter

because JESUS looked beyond his past

giving him an everlasting future.

Are you wearing the FORGIVENESS of JESUS?

If JESUS could FORGIVE Saul, how could JESUS not FORGIVE

you or I from our "old self" doings.

Saul to Paul.

You to New.

"Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead" (Philippians 3:17)

How could you not

LOVE JESUS,

the ONE who has

you &

"ME ON YOUR MIND"
