You PRAY & PRAY & PRAY
but everything stays the same
because
what you are PRAYING for
appears to be landing on deaf ears.
But you are oh so persistent
as you refuse to give up
even though it appears
others have given up on you
and even GOD
as HE is so silent.
But you still PRAY without ceasing
because that is what GOD asks of you.
And you WAIT & WAIT & WAIT.
And in the WAITING something happens,
Time keeps moving forward
just as you are
PRESSING FORWARD in the WAIT.
So maybe just maybe
GOD is answering your PRAYERS
because HE does HEAR
as HE is with you in the WAIT.
So maybe just maybe
the WAIT is where we meet GOD'S sweet spot
because HE doesn't run away
while we WAIT
because
HE sits with us.
THANK YOU GOD for the WAIT.
"Come and hear, all you who fear GOD;
let me tell you what HE has done for me.
I cried out to HIM with my mouth;
HIS praise was on my tongue.
If I had cherished sin in my heart,
the LORD would not have listened;
but GOD has surely listened
and has heard my prayer.
Praise be to GOD,
who has not rejected my prayer
or withheld HIS love from me!" (Psalm 66:16-20)
Therefore
keep PRAYING
as I will never stop PRAYING
because PRAYER brings us
closer & closer & closer
to the ONE who is always listening
