GOD IS
THE PERFECT FATHER of ALL.
Who would I be WITHOUT GOD THE FATHER?
I wouldn't be here.
You wouldn't be here.
What if today
we all took the time to celebrate
OUR FATHER
who art in HEAVEN,
and remember
HIS FAITHFULNESS!
GREAT IS HIS FAITHFULNESS
as
GOD keeps reminding me that
HE has never left me,
even when others have.
GOD keeps reminding me that
HE has always LOVED me,
even when others haven't.
GOD keeps reminding me that
HE has always been FAITHFUL,
even when I haven't been.
I wondered why
HE has
CHASED me my whole life,
even when I wasn't
CHASING after HIM,
but oh how it is so clear to me~
just so HE could introduce me to
HIS SON
so that
HIS SON
could
HEAL the BROKENNESS in my heart,
that I never saw as BROKENNESS.
Instead,
I BELIEVED
I was DAMAGED
and
NOT ENOUGH.
Therefore,
I BELIEVED that
I had to STRIVE to BE BETTER and DO BETTER
in order to be seen as
BETTER,
because if I was
BETTER
then
I would be LOVED like I was LOVING others.
Yet,
BETTER never was BETTER ENOUGH.
But in my CHASING to be BETTER,
GOD was ALWAYS there,
even when I didn't even know HE was there,
for HE wanted to be THE BETTER.
Oh
HIS PATIENCE,
as HE waited for me.
Oh HIS FORGIVENESS,
as HE waited for me to RECEIVE it.
Oh HIS COMPASSION.
Oh HIS TENDERNESS.
For on that day
when my race to BE BETTER had become
a never ending CHASING of the wind,
I had no choice but to finally
BE STILL
and TRUST GOD
with
my LIFE,
because my LIFE
was never "my" LIFE,
as it was HIS from the moment
HE purposely knitted me together in
my mother's womb.
My first words where a cry
as I entered the world,
as yours where too.
But what I didn't realize was that
GOD was the first one who welcomed me into the world,
to claim me as HIS OWN,
as HIS PRECIOUS POSSESSION,
and that is true for you too!
HE then PATIENTLY WAITED for the moment when I would finally
embrace the TRUTH that
I am HIS WORKMANSHIP.
It is so hard to fathom,
when you are in those moments of feeling so
UNLOVED,
that makes you feel as an outcast,
even though you know that GOD LOVES you so,
yet HIS LOVE doesn't FEEL ENOUGH
as you question it
because why wouldn't others
LOVE you too if you were so LOVABLE.
And then it happens.
It is just you and GOD in a room.
And then JESUS walks in.
And THEY want to be with you.
THEY want to hear everything that is on your HEART
and THEY actually LISTEN to every uncensored word.
And you can almost hear a chuckle
from THEM
because they so ADORE you.
And then you become so STILL to RECEIVE THEIR LOVE,
and finally realize that you would be nothing without THEM.
Oh THEY LOVE you so deeply,
that you can't stop going so deep with THEM
to RECEIVE everything that THEY have for you,
that is more than anything that you could have ever imagined.
GOD was there from the very beginning
when HE made the decision to create you.
JESUS was there from the very beginning,
waiting to RECEIVE you without any condemnation,
just so HE could to pour out
HIS INDESCRIBABLE LOVE
that made HIM DIE
for you and for me and everyone else.
Is GOD enough when HE is the only one in the room with you?
OH YES!
Is JESUS enough HE is the only one in the room with you?
OH YES!
Thank YOU GOD
and
Thank YOU JESUS.
for never forsaking me,
because all you ever wanted was ALL of me.
YOU have always been forever FAITHFUL,
even when I wasn't~
