It is so SIMPLE that it is so hard to BELIEVE~
You are FORGIVEN.
But GOD I did this. But GOD I did that.
BUT you are still FORGIVEN.
"If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, HE is faithful
& just [true to HIS own nature and promises], & will forgive our sins & cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with
HIS will & purpose]" (I John 1:9 AMP)
But GOD I can't FORGIVE myself.
But GOD~
"The LORD does not delay [as though HE were unable to act]
& is not slow about HIS promise, as some count slowness,
but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you,
not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 AMP)
But GOD is it really that SIMPLE?
"I, even I, am HE who blots out your transgressions for MY own sake;
& I will not remember your sins" (Isaiah 43:25)
So if GOD says so & JESUS made it so~
"HE made CHRIST who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf,
so that in HIM we would become the righteousness of
GOD [that is, we would be made acceptable to HIM & placed
in a right relationship with HIM by HIS gracious lovingkindness]" (2 Corinthians 5:21 AMP)
Why doesn't everyone SIMPLY BELIEVE & RECEIVE FORGIVENESS,
like the guilty criminal on the cross right next to JESUS~
"We are suffering justly, because we are getting what we deserve
for what we have done; but this MAN has done nothing wrong.”
And he was saying, “JESUS, [please] remember me when YOU come into YOUR kingdom!”
JESUS said to him, “I assure you & most solemnly say to you,
today you will be with ME in Paradise” (Luke 23:41-43 AMP).
Oh it is so very SIMPLE that it is so hard to BELIEVE,
but why not
SIMPLY RECEIVE FORGIVENESS
&
SIMPLY thank GOD for SIMPLY FORGIVING~
"Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise HIS holy name.
Praise the LORD, my soul, & forget not all his benefits—
WHO forgives all your sins & heals all your diseases,
WHO redeems your life from the pit & crowns you with love and compassion,
WHO satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s" (Psalm 103:1-5 NIV).
Just because FORGIVENESS is a free gift
with no questions asked,
why not want
JESUS
