LIFE IS SHORT
and
so am I,
&
there’s nothing I can do about it.
So I am saying
Good-bye to
ANXIETY
&
FEAR
&
LONELINESS
&
REJECTION
&
DOUBT
&
everything else that strives
to
ROB from me the
JOY of
LIVING THE ABUNDANT LIFE
that
JESUS has GIFTED to
ALL who
BELIEVE IN HIM!
LIFE IS SHORT & so am I
&
there is nothing I can do about it,
but
there is
SOMEONE who can~
HE can be my PEACE in the midst of anxiety.
HE can be my TRUST in the midst of doubt.
HE can be my COMPANION in the midst of loneliness.
HE ACCEPTS me when no one else does.
LIFE IS SHORT,
but oh how it becomes so much
TALLER
when
I am relying on the
ONE
who has come
to give me
an eternity with
HIM,
that is not short
as it is FOREVER.
And then one day
I may not be short
because
I will be the perfect height
when I meet
JESUS
face to face.
