Twinkle Twinkle Little Lights
on the homes, the trees, and the wreaths.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
that Twinkled in the sky on that one
SILENT NIGHT
when all was still
except for the hearts of
Mary & Joseph
as they experienced
the BIRTH OF A BABY
that was beyond all births.
For JESUS was the PROMISE
that was BIRTHED.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Light
that was shining in the manager
as the Wise Men came
as the Shepherds came
and as the sheep were probably also amazed
as the
Little BABY was shining a LIGHT
because HE is THE LIGHT.
I can just imagine on that
one STARRY night
when the world
received the biggest
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
that GOD planted in the sky
for this one night
that GOD planned way before time.
For at the exact moment
the BABY was born
"But when the right time came, GOD sent HIS SON, born of a woman, subject to the law.
GOD sent HIM to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that HE could adopt us as HIS very own children And because we are HIS children, GOD has sent the SPIRIT of HIS SON into our hearts, prompting us to call out, 'Abba, Father.'.
Now you are no longer a slave but GOD's own child.
And since you are HIS child, GOD has made you HIS heir" (Galatians 4:4-6).
Oh JESUS is more than just a Twinkle that comes and goes,
as HE is where our eyes are to be FIXED
because HE is the LIGHT that never fades
even if the circumstances around you start to fade.
Do you need a FIX of the BABY?
Can you stop for a second and bring whatever is on your heart
to THE BABY who is waiting for you & me & everyone else
to drop everything for a moment
to FIX your eyes on HIM
so that moment will change that moment
and you will never want to leave
THE BABY
because THE BABY changes everything
because HE changes you.
Therefore
"JUST BECAUSE IT'S CHRISTMAS"
doesn't erase what may or not be happening in your life
but

the ONE who was born to HAPPEN in your heart
to enlighten every space & place
that needs the illumination of the
Twinkle Twinkle that never fades.
