IT happens to ALL of us.
The DAY GOD calls us HOME.
We can't stop it,
even if we eat all organic,
exercise every day,
&
get 8 hours of sleep.
The DAY GOD calls you HOME
will be the
DAY
that GOD chooses.
GOD CALLED my
AUNT LUCY HOME.
At the age of 96,
she was
WELCOMED HOME.
And why a WELCOME HOME?
Because she INVITED JESUS into her heart,
long ago.
And when she did,
I thought she was crazy,
when actually I was the crazy one.
She had had religion.
I had religion.
And that was okay.
But something changed,
the moment she had more than just religion.
She now had a RELATIONSHIP with JESUS,
and because she
LOVED so big
she wanted everyone else to have a RELATIONSHIP too.
So much so,
as I was on her
PRAYER list
that I used to laugh at,
because why did I need PRAYER?
I wish I could see the list again,
because I needed to be on that list,
as I know now.
It was the night that changed my life.
The night that I thought I was going to die,
because of the way I was punishing myself
with the monster of bulimia.
My little god.
As I looked into the eyes of my three young children
and my husband,
I couldn't die.
I had been going to counseling.
I had probably read every self help book.
BUT the bulimia was still going strong.
There was something missing.
That night I knew
I needed GOD.
Not the GOD of my youth,
who I BELIEVED existed,
as I also BELIEVED HIS SON
existed.
Both whom I VISITED every SUNDAY at church.
But that night I NEEDED THEM!
And I knew who could help me.
My "crazy" AUNT LUCY!
The call that saved my life.
When I heard her voice on the other end of the phone,
I cried out to her,
"How do I find GOD?".
The question that saved my life.
The day my AUNT LUCY'S PRAYER was finally answered.
I got GOD.
I got JESUS.
For THEY SAVED my life.
Because of the LOVE of my AUNT LUCY
that was so great.
That was over 30 years ago.
All because
AUNT LUCY
had the courage to wear her
FAITH so strong
because she BELIEVED so strong
and LOVED so strong
that she would put my name on her PRAYER list.
So THANK YOU GOD
for sending
AUNT LUCY.
She is HOME.
CROWNED FOREVER!
She has
"fought the good fight..."
&
she has
"kept the faith..."
and
"Now there is in store..."
for her
"the crown of righteousness, which the LORD,
the righteous JUDGE, will award..."
to her
"on that day..."
and
"not only..."
to her
"—and not only to me
but also to all who have longed for HIS appearing"
(2 Timothy 4:7-8).
I hope you all have an
AUNT LUCY
in your life.

For now her
FAITH
has become
her
SIGHT.
