Day 15: Unbroken Brokenness

It isn't about ME.

And I am not saying that in

a poor ME kinda of tone.

I am saying it in a FREEDOM

kinda way.

Oh to remove yourself from

your life is when you find yourself.

And GOD has a way of wanting you

to remove yourself,

that HE gets you ALONE with HIM

so that HE can breathe

REAL LIFE into you

so that you start really LIVING.

Oh the journey is not fun,

as things need to BREAK

so that you meet

GOD at such a deep level

so that you meet

HIS SON at such a deep level

so that you meet

THE HOLY SPIRIT

who empowers you to

REALLY LIVE.

BROKENNESS is what brings you back to LIFE.

No one has to wish

BROKENNESS into their LIFE

because

BROKENNESS is part of LIFE

as it comes from

our doing

or

other's doing.

Oh to be

BROKEN with GOD

is when you become

UNBROKEN

because

no one who willingly invites

GOD into their life

will remain

BROKEN~

"The sacrifice you desire is a BROKEN spirit.

YOU will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O GOD" (Psalm 51: 17).

Those words from

DAVID

who GOD called a man after HIS own heart.

DAVID

whose FAITH was so BIG that his FAITH killed a giant with little stones.

DAVID

whose FAITH was BROKEN

when he killed the husband of the woman who he had an affair with..

DAVID

who penned the words

"The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit.

You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O GOD."

And did GOD turn DAVID away.

Oh no, because DAVID came.

DAVID showed up with his BROKENNESS

and GOD received him

with FORGIVENESS.

It just takes one step to SHOW UP.

JESUS showed up

to be

BROKEN on the CROSS.

Oh the pain. Oh the sorrow.

JESUS KNOWS what it is like to lose your LIFE

in order to SAVE your LIFE.

So on this morning

I thank GOD for reminding me

that

HE loves

BROKEN me

because it is in my

BROKENNESS

when I release myself

to become my best self

because

IN JESUS

is where

LIFE is found~

"And he who does not take his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow ME [believing in ME, conforming to MY example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in ME] is not worthy of ME.

Whoever finds his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], and whoever loses his life [in this world] for MY sake will find it

[that is, life with ME for all eternity]" (Matthew 10:38-39).

Thank YOU JESUS

for taking us

from

BROKEN INTO BEAUTIFUL

because

when YOU were BROKEN

you had

"ME ON YOUR MIND"*
