Day 15: The Pain of Prayer

I tossed & turned all night.

I won't give you all the details,

but the sharp pain was unbearable.

As FEAR filled my being

ANXIETY joined in

because now I was believing it would never go away.

But I PRAYED

and immediately PEACE filled my being

and the pain subsided.

Oh HE heard me!

But then the pain returned.

Did that mean that HE didn't hear me?

Did that mean that HE didn't take the pain away?

No & No.

But I thought it.

But I immediately PRAYED again

and PEACE filled my being and the pain subsided.

Oh HE heard me.

But then the pain returned again.

Did that mean that HE didn't hear me?

Did that mean that HE didn't take the pain away?

No & No.

Was this just a game I was playing with GOD

or a game GOD was playing with me?

No & No.

Because when the pain returned I still had

HIS PEACE.

I still had CALM

because HE filled me with TRUST.

As I took another breath and PEACEFULLY PRAYED again

PEACE had me sleep.

PEACE overtook the PAIN

as it always does

when we make PRAYER THE OPTION~

even if the "pain" of the PRAYER still remains.

You know,

THE PAIN OF PRAYER~

that one thing or that one person that you are PRAYING about

that is the one thing or that one person that is causing PAIN.

Oh the POWER of PEACE that strips PAIN away

when we PRAY.

I did sleep in, as I write this way past my wake up time,

with sleepy eyes

yet with a smile

because

PRAYER double blessed me as

HE took the PAIN away

leaving HIS PEACE with me

because HE was with me

because HE always hear me

and

because the best place to always be

is to make

PRAYER THE ONLY OPTION

to take away all the "PAINS" that you may be experiencing

whether physically, emotionally, relationally, financially, _________ally,

because HE means what HE says because HE does what HE says

when we~

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to GOD. And the peace of GOD, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in CHRIST JESUS" (Philippians 4:6-7)
