Day 15: Forever Faithful

GOD IS FOREVER FAITHFUL,

even when circumstances rob you of what is GOOD.

What is GOOD?

LIFE.

What is not so GOOD?

When LIFE robs you of a LIFE of someone you know or

 a LIFE of someone you have never met.

There is a great SADNESS in the air,

but there is GOD'S FAITHFULNESS that never dies.

As we are told,

"Consider it nothing but joy,

my brothers and sisters,

whenever you fall into various trials.

 Be assured that the testing of your faith

[through experience]

produces endurance

[leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].

And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing"

Oh the TRIALS of life

that have the power to strip LIFE from you,

by closing the door on what was

that leads you to an NEW OPEN door to what is.

A NEW START to begin again,

to pick up the pieces of what is left.

And what do you have left when all is gone?

YOU.

YOU are GOD'S PRECIOUS POSSESSION,

who HE PROMISES

to never leave you

or

forsake you.

HE dries your TEARS.

HE hugs your HEART.

HE fills in the gaps where

LIFE used to be and is now no longer.

HE does the POSSIBLE in the IMPOSSIBLE.

When everything goes dark

 and you can't even imagine if you will ever see light again,

you see a flicker.

A flicker of HOPE.

A flicker of JOY.

A flicker of PEACE.

Despite the dark.

Because there

HE IS.

Dressed as JESUS.

JESUS always was JESUS

even when the world went DARK

for three days,

when the PROMISED SAVIOR

laid dead in a tomb.

The HOPE in so many souls died when JESUS died,

because what now?

Did they all forget HIS PROMISE

that HE would RISE from the dead?

Did they forget HIS WORDS

that have never changed?

"For GOD so loved the world that

HE gave HIS one and only SON, that whoever

believes in HIM shall not perish

 but have eternal life"

(John 3:16).

ETERNAL LIFE,

a LIFE that exists beyond

the GREAT SADNESS of LIFE

that we all experience from time to time in this LIFE.

But when FAITH becomes your eyesight,

it beams LIGHT into the spaces and places in

 your hurting heart,

because that is where JESUS is sitting.

HE never leaves you or forsakes you.

HE is the LIGHT that never goes out,

even when darkness may enter into your LIFE.

I am not minimizing the grief that enters into your heart

through the losses of life,

as I hate loss.

But is through those LOSSES

where GOD WINS.

HE shows up with HIS SON and HIS HOLY SPIRIT.

And before you know

you are ENLIGHTENED

with

A NEW PEACE

&

A NEW HOPE

&

A NEW JOY

that you never BELIEVED was possible,

because of

HIS GREAT LOVE

that never ceases.

For

"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; 

  HIS mercies never come to an end; 

they are new every morning;   

 great is your faithfulness"

( Lamentations 3:22-23).

So wherever your HEART is on this early morning,

will you embrace the LOVE of GOD 

that will hug your HEART

whatever you may be feeling or not feeling.

For HIS HUG takes you beyond this life into a

FOREVER

that is here for you in the HERE and NOW.

So where is GOD when LIFE robs your LIFE of a LIFE?

Right where HE has always been,

waiting to wrap you in HIS OPEN arms with

HIS FAITHFULNESS that is

NEW EVERY MORNING.

Therefore,

remember that

HIS FAITHFULNESS is GREAT

and it is for you~

"Whatever comes,

YOU'VE never let me walk alone.

Not even once.

And

"YOU WON'T START NOW"
