Oh GOD never STOPS
so why should we ever STOP
STOPPING to STOP
to HEAR
HIS small whisper
even when restlessness keeps us awake at night,
even in the search for the the noise of distractions,
even in the midst of the noisiness of life,
because
HE STILL SPEAKS
drawing us so near
so that we do STOP
because GOD never STOPS
asking~
"Come to ME, all you who are weary & burdened, & I will give you rest" (Matthew 11: 28)
Even in the midst of the noise of frustration.
Even when you want to throw the towel in
HE STILL SPEAKS
telling us to STOP because GOD never STOPS
being our everything~
"I can do all things [which HE has called me to do]
through HIM who
strengthens & empowers me [to fulfill HIS purpose
—I am self-sufficient in CHRIST'S sufficiency;
I am ready for anything & equal to anything through HIM
who infuses me with inner strength & confident peace] (Philippians 4: 13)
Oh but when we STOP enough
to HEAR the voice of the ONE who never STOPS being our enough~
"BUT HE said to me,
'MY grace is sufficient for you,
for MY power is made perfect in weakness'.
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses,
so that CHRIST'S power may rest on me" (2 Corinthians 12:9)

for never STOPPING to speak
to me & you & everyone else
as we STOP & HEAR the
