Day 14: Unbroken Peace

This FEELS not right, even though it is RIGHT.

I just am so STILL, that it almost doesn't FEEL RIGHT.

I don't want to leave this time and space.

And you know what, I never have to!

Oh the sweet spot,

to just BE

right where you are

with

PERFECT PEACE

that you have not created on your own,

because it runs through your whole body

beginning in your HEART

that is connected to your MIND

that is connected to your SOUL.

You body is all in sync

as the doctor reads your

BLOOD test results

and tells you that all your levels are

PERFECT.

And then you question how can this be

because all you have been eating

has been

donuts, fried chicken, & pork rinds.

Just as how can you be

IN PERFECT PEACE

when you have been

living in

the middle of a storm

of

BROKEN CIRCUMSTANCES

BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS

that have

BROKEN ALL your FEELINGS?

Because

PEACE is ALWAYS PERFECT

IN JESUS.

Oh this sounds so Christian~ese,

but it isn't just words.

I can't explain it

as I can only experience it.

And to know that I never have to leave this space & place

because

when

I ABIDE IN JESUS

&

when you

ABIDE IN JESUS

HIS FRUIT just BLOOMS from you.

Just as my body could never grow an apple,

as I can't even keep a plant alive.

I can't produce

PERFECT PEACE.

And oh I have STRIVED trying to

by STRIVING to

make everything around me be

PERFECT,

even myself,

because I BELIEVED that

if

ALL my CIRCUMSTANCES

& ALL of my RELATIONSHIPS

and ALL of my FEELINGS

were PERFECT

then I would be able to finally have

PERFECT PEACE.

Well STRIVING to produce what I can never produce

creates anxiety and frustration.

Oh to

REST IN

the

PERFECT ONE

who is

THE PERFECT PEACE

that drowns out

everything that is

PERFECTLY BROKEN

in my life & your life.

What if nothing was BROKEN in my life?

Would I

KNOW GOD like I KNOW HIM?

Would I

have given my life to JESUS?

Would I be

plugging into the power of the

HOLY SPIRIT who RENEWS

my mind?

PERFECT PEACE is ALWAYS present

when we stop STRIVING to produce it

and just

BE STILL & KNOW

because

ONLY GOD

"will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast

[that is, committed and focused on YOU (GOD)

~in both inclination and character],

Because he trusts and takes refuge in YOU [with hope and confident expectation]" (Isaiah 26:3).

May you experience

HIS PEFECT PEACE

ALWAYS

and

LIVE UNBROKEN

no matter what may be

BROKEN in your life

when you KNOW

"GOD IS ON THE THRONE"*

of your life!
