I wonder if GOD ever felt like a failure.
HE created GOOD.
HE said it was all GOOD.
HE gave HIS first two humans everything that was GOOD.
Everything was oh so GOOD.
It was. And then it wasn't.
I wonder if GOD ever felt like a failure
because HIS creations failed HIM.
I don't have to wonder
because if GOD did,
would HE have given up HIS SON
for you & me & everyone else
because HE knew we would fail HIM?
Or has GOD been reinforcing this
little saying that we have learned from a very young age~
"If at first you don't succeed TRY TRY AGAIN" (Hickson)
as HE GAVE UP HIS SON
for you & me & everyone else
in the midst of our failures~
"But GOD clearly shows and proves HIS own love for us,
by the fact that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us" (Romans 5:8 AMP)
What if GOD felt like a failure every time we failed and continue to fail HIM~
when we choose not to choose HIM
in those moments when
doubt
fear
sorrow
pain
hurt
&
weariness
TRIES
to get the best of us.
But GOD doesn't.
"If at first you don't succeed TRY TRY AGAIN"*
because
failure is never final
or GOD would have stopped TRYING to be GOD~
"HE forgives your sins—every one. HE heals your diseases—every one. HE redeems you from hell—saves your life! HE crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown. HE wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal. HE renews your youth—you’re always young in HIS presence" (Psalm 103:3-5)
A smile returns to my heart
as
"If at first you don't succeed TRY TRY AGAIN" *(Hickson)
is filled with great truth~
"Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good,
for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in" (Galatians 6:9)
THANK YOU GOD
that
when the going gets tough
we don't have to get going
because
"YOU NEVER GIVE UP ON ME" (listen to the song below)
