I didn't want to
but I had to
because it is what HE asked me to do.
So I didn't say what I wanted to say. So I didn't do what I wanted to do.
Instead I did what HE asked me to~
"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone..."
Because it is what HE DOES~
"Forgive as the LORD forgave you" (Colossians 3:13).
And LOVE replaced Bitterness
because that is what
LOVE DOES.
I didn't want to

because it what HE asked me to do.
"Love one another..."
Because it is what HE DOES~
"...As I have loved you, so you must love one another" (John 13:34)
I didn't want to

because HE IS the ONE I follow~
"the one who says he abides in HIM ought himself..."
Because HE SHOWS me~
"to walk in the same manner as HE walked" ( I John 2:6)
I didn't want to
until I had to do
because what I was doing wasn't working anymore~
"What a wretched man I am!
Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?" (Romans 7:24)
And there HE WAS like HE always WAS yet I never wanted to admit
that I needed HIM because
pride pushed HIM aside,
but it was time to push me aside and listen to the ONE who never gave up on me~
"Humble yourselves before the Lord..."
And HE DID what HE SAID HE would do~
"...and HE will lift you up" (James 4:10).
Therefore I did what I had to do~
"If you declare with your mouth, 'JESUS IS LORD',
and believe in your heart that GOD raised HIM from the dead...."
And HE DID what HE SAID HE would do~
"... you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Oh "What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?"
The ONE whose LOVE LANGUAGE goes beyond just WORDS~
"...Thanks be to GOD, who delivers me through JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD!" (Romans 7:25).
