Day 14: Just Ask

You WANT it.
NOW.
But you are not getting it
NOW.
You wonder why,
because you
PRAY,
PRAY,
and
PRAY,
because didn't JESUS say,
"Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you;
seek and keep on seeking and you will find;
knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who keeps on asking receives,
and he who keeps on seeking finds,
and to him who keeps on knocking,
it will be opened"
(Matthew 7:7-8)?
So you KEEP ASKING
and you
KEEP SEEKING
and you
KEEP KNOCKING,
but all you are
RECEIVING is a locked door.
So are you missing something?
Does GOD not hear your cries?
Is JESUS really standing at the door knocking?
Could it be that
GOD DOES HEAR
and
JESUS DOES KNOCK
because
THEY are TRUE to THEIR WORD.
Could it be that
ASKING is strengthening your TRUST muscles
and
SEEKING is the stance of HUMILITY
because you are SEEKING more of the ONE who will meet you
right where you are,
and
KNOCKING is an action that seals the deal
that you have a
RELATIONSHIP
with the
ONE who stands at the door
who
HEARS YOU
&
who
FINDS YOU
&
who
OPENS THE DOOR WIDE
to embrace you
right where you are,
and
feeling what you feeling,
all because you
ASK, SEEK, and KNOCK.
GOD is about a RELATIONSHIP
with you.
JESUS is about RELATIONSHIP
with you.
So is ASKING & SEEKING & KNOCKING
about getting the ANSWER that you want to your PRAYER
or is it
GOD & JESUS
showing up
to be with you
in your
ASKING & SEEKING & KNOCKING.
Ready. Get Set. Go.
Dear GOD,
I am ASKING YOU for ___________?
And there you will find HIM,
the moment HE is INVITED into your ASK.
For HE is THE ANSWER
who is sitting right next to you.
The sweet spot of
PERFECT PEACE,
PERFECT HOPE,
PERFECT LOVE,
and
PERFECT JOY.
And there is no better place to be
FOUND.
Oh JOYFUL JUNE,
you are one knock away.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
