Day 14: It Is What It Is

You have said it.

You have heard others say it.

"IT IS WHAT IT IS"

meaning

"An expression used to characterize a frustrating or challenging situation that a person believes cannot be changed and must just be accepted"(dictionary.com).

You have said it.

You have heard others say it.

THE SERENITY PRAYER~

"GOD, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time; accepting hardship as a pathway to peace; taking, as JESUS did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; trusting that YOU will make all things right if I surrender to YOUR will; so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with YOU forever in the next.

Amen" (Reinhold Niebuh)

And then you start to say it

because that is what HE said to say

when

"IT IS WHAT IT IS"

&

SERENITY is what you crave~

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to GOD..."

And then serenity because reality~

"...And the peace of GOD, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in CHRIST JESUS" (Philippians 4:6-7).

And then you start to live it~

"Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice..".

And then

"IT IS WHAT IT IS"

isn't so bad because

it becomes better than you have expected~

"...And the GOD of peace will be with you" (Philippians 4:9)

And then the

WEIGHT of WAIT

doesn't WEIGH you down

because you can

BE WAITLESS~MOVING FORWARD IN THE MIDDLE OF WAIT

just because

HIS SERENITY

becomes

IT IS WHAT IT IS

because

HE SAID SO

and

What HE says becomes reality

because

"THY WORD*"

is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" (Psalm 119:105)
