Day 14: Human Humility

HUMILITY is not being a doormat.

HUMILITY is not being weak.

HUMILITY is not being a coward.

HUMILITY takes the courage to say

IT'S NOT ABOUT ME

because

IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS.

Yup.

So very easy.

And when you move out of the way

to allow HIM to take over,

there is less of you

to get in the way

of the

MORE that GOD has for you.

Oh the

FREEDOM to just let JESUS be JESUS,

so you can be the you who GOD created you to be.

Taking the stance of HUMILITY~

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under GOD'S mighty hand,

that HE may lift you up in due time” (I Peter 5:6)

The only way up is from down,

as HUMILITY is

SUBMISSION~~

Acknowledgment of inferiority or dependence.

How low can you go~

“Get down on your knees before the MASTER;

it's the only way you'll get on your feet” (James 4:8)

As low as possible.

Oh it is the greatest place~

"HE must become greater; I must become less" (John 3:30)

All of a sudden it is okay

to not be okay to

be striving

to do more

or

to be more,

just so that you feel more of yourself

to feel alive.

Because HUMILITY takes the HUMAN out of you.

"I have been crucified with CHRIST: and I myself no longer live, but CHRIST lives in me

. And the real life I now have within this body is a result of my trusting in the SON OF GOD, who loved me and gave HIMSELF for me" (Galatians 2:20)

Oh to be less HUMAN~

"Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life—even though invisible to spectators—is with CHRIST. HE is your life" (Colossians 3:3)

Oh to take the stance of HUMILITY

is what empowers you to do the impossible

because~

"I can do all things [which HE has called me to do] through HIM who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill HIS purpose—I am self-sufficient in CHRIST'S sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through HIM who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]" (Philippians 4:13)

Oh how low can you go?

Oh so low that

when HUMILITY overtakes you

you are in the greatest position

that takes you higher than you can ever imagine

for it is the only way that you will
