Day 14: Arise

GOD is so PURPOSEFUL

in all HE does.

HE brings people into your LIFE

as a

 GIFT, 

because

HE KNOWS

that what they have

is what you NEED,

because it is

WHO they have

is WHO we all

NEED.

Dick and Marvel

are those

GIFTS

that

GOD graciously BLESSED

my hubby and I.

 They know FAITH.

They know LOSS. 

They know GRIEF.

They know JOY.

Because they

 KNOW JESUS

They lost their son Kurt,

 sadly by a drunk driver

years ago,

 when he was in his young 20s.

 And then four years ago

they lost

 their daughter,

Amy,

a mother and a wife,

from cancer.

But through it all,

GOD'S LIGHT SHINES

through them,

as they don't miss a beat

to bring

GLORY TO GOD

to reach so many,

through these tragedies

because

they

KNOW THE LOVE OF GOD

that

"works all things for the GOOD for those who LOVE HIM"

(Romans 8:28).

They passed their FAITH to their two beautiful children,

that continues to SHINE

through their

stories,

bringing

GLORY TO THE LORD.

I am changed because of their FAITH,

For Amy never gave up serving

THE LORD,

as she fought the fight,

running the race

with one goal in mind~

to bring

GLORY TO GOD.

GOD used

 Amy to

bring so many to CHRIST,

through her suffering,

 as she was willing to be poured out like a drink offering.

Her story continues to touch so many,

as her precious parents

Dick and Marvel

continue to

SHINE GOD'S LIGHT

as they

walk the talk

and

talk the walk

as they

LIVE the WALK FOR JESUS,

for HIS LIGHT just beams through

the holes

caused by

 the sorrow of the loss of their children.

To spend time with

Marvel and Dick,

you will never remain the same,

for HIS LIGHT draws you into

their

FAITH

that

RISES above

their great losses,

which they use to

SHINE JESUS.

So today,

will you let

JESUS RISE in you

to SHINE through

you,

no matter what holes LIFE has brought in your life,

as you

RISE IN CHRIST

by

following the great TESTIMONY of

Dick and Marvel

by looking ABOVE

and embracing

"Whatever is true,

 whatever is honorable and worthy of respect,

whatever is right and confirmed by GOD'S word,

whatever is pure and wholesome,

whatever is lovely and brings peace,

 whatever is admirable and of good repute;

if there is any excellence,

if there is anything worthy of praise,

think continually on these things [center your mind on them"*

And then take that

STEP OF FAITH~

 "The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me,

practice these things [in daily life], and the

 GOD[who is the source]

of peace and well-being will be with you" *(Philippians 4:8-10).

For LOSS is temporary,

because JESUS is FOREVER.

For they know that

Kurt and Amy LIVE FOREVER

embraced in our SAVIOR'S arms.

Do you have LOSS?

Are you in GRIEF?

Know that JESUS is in it with you,

and

HE WILL SHINE through every hole in your heart,

because

"GOD WORKS FOR GOOD ALL THINGS

 FOR THE GOOD OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM"

(Romans 8:28).

For a PROMISE IS A PROMISE FROM THE ON MAKING THE PROMISE.

Therefore,

ARISE ABOVE

and

"TURN YOUR EYES TO JESUS"
