Day 13: The Love Of God

He was playing with blocks.

And then he said to me,

"Jojo, let's build JESUS".

I melted.

The child heart of my 4 year old grandchild,

meeting my child heart,

with

"LET'S BUILD JESUS".

What more had to be said,

for his DESIRE was to build JESUS.

As I looked at his precious face

and then to the blocks he was playing with,

I questioned myself,

"How DO I BUILD JESUS?"

Well, GOD made it easy.

For the blocks he was playing with

where blocks to a

Tic Tac Toe game,

so each one was marked with

an X or an O.

 Out of my mouth flowed

that these blocks are JESUS, 

because

JESUS is

LOVE & KISSES.

"For GOD IS LOVE.

HE is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of HIS nature.

 By this the LOVE OF GOD was displayed in us,

in that GOD has sent HIS [ONE and] only begotten SON

[the ONE who is truly unique, the only ONE of His kind]

 into the world so that we might live through HIM"

(I John 4:8-9).

So how do you BUILD JESUS?

 "We can’t afford to waste a minute,

must not squander these precious daylight hours

in frivolity and indulgence,

in sleeping around and dissipation,

in bickering and grabbing everything in sight.

Get out of bed and get dressed!

 Don’t loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute.

 Dress yourselves in CHRIST and be up and about!"

(Romans 13:14).

To be DRESSED in the 

LOVE &KISSES

of GOD,

who is JESUS.

So thank you Hudson for asking me,

"LET'S BUILD JESUS",

as it is a reminder to me

TO LIVE JESUS.
