Day 13: One Step At A Time

There HE was.

I bet you couldn't hear a pin drop.

 JESUS said HIS first word,

"BLESSED",

until

HE said HIS last WORDS

when HE finished 

HIS SERMON ON THE MOUNT.

Now what?

Pretend you were there.

You HEAR HIS WORDS

You LOVE LISTENING to JESUS.

You BELIEVE HIM.

You are ENCOURAGED.

Just like everyone else who were actually there~`

 "When JESUS had finished [speaking] these words [on the mountain],

the crowds were astonished and overwhelmed at HIS teaching..."

  (Matthew 7:28).

Now what?

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS.

It is so easy to just LISTEN and to AGREE,

but then it is time to

DO what JESUS says.

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!

So you put your name into HIS WORDS~

 “So, ______________, who hears these words of MINE

 and _______________, who acts on them,

 will be like a wise man [a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man]

who built his house on the rock.

 And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came,

 and the winds blew and slammed against that house;

 yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock"

(Matthew 7:24-26).

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!

To FOLLOW JESUS is a CHOICE.

TO BE a JESUS' FOLLOWER

isn't just FOLLOWING,

but

LEARNING to BE LIKE JESUS.

LEARNING

is a step by step process,

one step at a time,

 following the

FOOTSTEPS of JESUS.

For there is only WAY to

have a BE-ATITUDE LIKE JESUS.

It is to

ABIDE IN HIM.

To DWELL IN HIM.

To be attached to HIM like a branch is to a tree.

Do you want to BE BLESSED?

“I am the vine, you are the branches. ______________, who abides in ME, and

I in _________________, bears much fruit; for without ME,

you, _______________, can do nothing"*

Do you want to FOLLOW JESUS?

“I am the vine, you are the branches. ______________, who abides in ME, and

I in ________________, bears much fruit; for without ME,

you, _______________, can do nothing"

*(John 15:5)

Oh how JESUS makes FOLLOWING HIM so easy,

when we do life together IN HIM!

So what did the crowds do after hearing

THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT?

"When HE came down from the mountain, great crowds followed HIM"

(Matthew 8:10)

Ready. Get Set. Go.

"I, ________________, HAVE DECIDE TO FOLLOW JESUS"
