5 years ago today our names changed
from
Mom to JoJo
Dad to HoJo
Sister to Aunt
Brother to Uncle
Daughter to Mommy
Son to Daddy
&
Baby to EVERETT.
From the blessed moment
when my precious first born delivered her first born
& from the
hearing of the words that mother and child were doing fine
tears flooded my heart as my baby was okay
& her baby was okay.
Nothing else mattered at that point.
Boy or Girl?
Big or small?
Who does he/she or look like?
Anticipation to hear the great news grew.
But the answers to those questions didn’t matter in that moment
because mother and baby were fine.
My heart will never be the same as it was
kissed from heaven the moment
I held my first grand~baby in my arms.
An indescribable feeling that is forever tattooed
on my heart.
Oh can you imagine
how Mary felt
when she held
JESUS
for the first time.
THE BABY
who was born
to change everyone's name.
From Lost to Found
From Anxiety to Peace
From Hopeless to Hope
From Fear to Faith
From Bitterness to Forgiveness
From Doubt to Trust
From Despair to Joy
THE BABY
changes your name
because that is why HE was born~
“I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The SAVIOR—yes, the MESSIAH, the LORD—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!" (Luke 2:9-12)
And the moment you look into
THE BABY'S EYES
& ask HIM into your heart
your name immediately changes
& so does your heart
because
"Therefore, if anyone is in CHRIST, he is a new creation; old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new" (Corinthians 5:17).
NEW BIRTH
As my heart still explodes as I think of this day 5 years ago
when I never could imagine what
the impact a little BABY could do to me,
but why would I be so surprised
as
it took a
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
that happened 2021 years ago
to change my heart forever
HIS BIRTH~DAY
that
is Life changing for all who
embrace
HIS BIRTH
for HE is our
BIRTH~DAY GIFT
So today when we celebrate the birth of our grandson
our hearts will be filled with joy
just because
GOD took the time to knit him and to knit you & I
in our mother's womb
BIRTHDAY
"for HE so loves"
so why don't we all
celebrate the greatest of all BIRTHS
