What is LOVE?

Is it when your granddaughter puts sparkly orange eyeshadow on one eyelid

and

sparkly blue eyeshadow on your other eyelid?

Is it when she draws all over your face with green and red paint markers?

Is it when she then adds hair paint to your hair?

Is it when she asks you if you looked "different" (hmm...younger)

when you were her daddy's mom when he was small?

Or is when she points out all of the wrinkles on your face and

asks why you have saggy skin?

Hmm.

YES!

It is

PERFECT LOVE!

So when I asked my hubby on the ride home, with paint all over my face,

if I should wash it off, and he just snickers, is that LOVE?

YES!

Well I did wash my face,

yet I actually thought I would leave all her artistic designs on my face,

for those moments

where such precious moments

that are tatootted on my heart forever.

The wrinkles are still there and that is okay,

because

LOVE COVERS ALL!

So why do we pick ourselves apart,

and why do we pick apart others,

or why do we take offense

when other's pick oursleves apart,

when GOD doesn't?

For even that

 we KNOW that

HIS PERFECT LOVE COVERS ALL,

yet our own condemning words

or the condemning words of others

become all that we hear.

Hmm.

GOD'S PERFECT LOVE,

that is a PERFECT FIT

for one and for all~

 JESUS CHRIST.

For we know,

"Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in CHRIST JESUS [who believe in HIM as personal LORD and SAVIOR]"

 (Romans 8:1).

Hmm.

HIS PERFECT LOVE

that created

"all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit them together in my mother’s womb..." *

Hmm.

PERFECTLY CREATED with A PERFECT LOVE,

because

GOD IS A PERFECT GOD.

Therefore,

when when you see the reflection of yourself in the mirror,

look with the eyes and the heart of a child,

so that your first words will be,

"THANK YOU for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about.

YOUR workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it"

*(Psalm 139:13-14).

Because,

"I may be far from perfect

But I’m loved by

'YOUR PERFECT LOVE'"

(listen to the song below)
