HOPELESSNESS
is living in a circle of
DESPAIR
where there appears
to be no end.
But then you get a glimmer of
HOPE
because you see a DOOR.
The DOOR is JESUS.
HE stands before you and looks into your eyes
and asks you
to
INVITE HIM IN
because HE IS INVITING you IN.
"Behold! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears
MY voice and opens the door,
I will come in and dine with him, and he with ME" (Revelation 3:20).
HIS DOOR provided
to leave the familiarity of
despair and hopelessness.
Yet you are afraid to leave all that you know,
as you question if JESUS is really THE HOPE
that you so desperately need.
What do you have to lose?
So you stand up.
You reach your hand to the doorknob.
You touch it.
You start to feel
HOPEFUL.
Is HOPE for you?
YES. YES. YES.
You just have to turn the doorknob and OPEN THE DOOR.
You then hear HIS voice.
Is JESUS talking to you?
YES. YES. YES.

just an INVITATION.

yet have slammed THE DOOR shut?
