I have been WAITING for something to happen
when THE SOMETHING has already happened.
THE SOMETHING took only a second
and it was a second that changed my life,
yet I have forgot
as I am WAITING for other somethings to happen.
Oh how quickly I can forget
when my eyes are so peeled on myself
and what I want when I want it
when I have always had what I ever wanted
because I have always had everything that I ever needed
from that moment
that THE SOMETHING happened.
It was so SIMPLE that I have complicated it
in the WAITING
that I went looking for something more
when THE SOMETHING MORE
has been here the whole time
because THE SOMETHING has never left
because HE has been WAITING for me
We all want SOMETHING that is better and different
then the SOMETHING that is happening right now.
Always wanting
SOMETHING
that we don't have yet~
yet don't we fix our eyes on the
SOMETHING~
hoping in the
SOMETHING,
yet we forget that
THE SOMETHING is a
SOMEONE
who is waiting for me & for you to just take a seat~
because
HE'S always WAITING yet
HE doesn't
wait
until we have it all together.
HE doesn't
WAIT
until we understand it all.
HE doesn't WAIT
until our lives are perfect.
Why?
Because
GOD wants to do what only HE can do
&
HE can't do it unless
we take a seat & allow
HIM to do it.
And then
HE will put it all together
because
HIS understanding is way better than our understanding
&
HIS perfection covers all of our imperfections.
So take a seat
&
BE STILL & KNOW
because
GOD knows you
from your head to your toes
&
HE wants to
Love you right where you are~
even if
things are falling apart
&
you don't understand
&
all you can see are your imperfections.
BE STILL & KNOW
that
GOD IS GOD
because that is all
HE wants to be in our lives.
Oh how 2020 is so much better and so much different right this moment
as HE is more than the SOMETHING that we have been WAITING for
because HE IS THE SOMETHING.
Therefore~
