The world is starting to open up,
yet it is not.
Vaccines for some & some still WAITING.
Masks have become part of the uniform of life.
Weariness is setting in
as many are going through the motions
hoping that one day life will go back to
normal
and the WEIGHT of the WAIT will be over.
But will it really~
as isn't life on big WAIT.
You get what you want and then you want something else.
You don't get what you want and are WAITING for it
and then when you get it you start WAITING again.
Are you tired of WAITING for this to happen or that to happen?
I am~
Because it just WEIGHS me down
so that the WAIT overcomes me.
What if the WAIT is over?
What if this very moment you can take the biggest inhale and the biggest exhale
and really start living in the here and now.
Oh when we BELIEVE it is possible
and walk BELIEVING
even a cloudy day is sunny
because
BELIEVING is SEEING the possible in the midst of the impossible
when we choose to be
"Constantly rejoicing IN HOPE..." & not in people, places & things
"...[because of our confidence in Christ]"*
And when we choose to be
"Steadfast and patient IN DISTRESS..."
only because we are choosing to be
"Devoted TO PRAYER [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength]" *(Romans 12:12)
Oh it sounds way too easy,
but it is so hard to do
when we don't BELIEVE
that we can actually
"Rejoice always"
even when we don't feel like rejoicing.
And again there is that PRAYER thing we are asked to do~
"Pray continually"
even when you feel like GOD isn't listening.
And then to
"Give thanks IN ALL circumstances..."
And you wonder,
Do you really mean "ALL"?
And oh yes,
because it isn't a thanking GOD that you love the circumstances
that you are living IN
as it is about THANKING GOD IN them.
And oh when I do & you do
we are living the life that GOD desires us to live~
"...for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus" (I Thessalonians 5:16-18).
The WEIGHT of WAIT
has lifted
because
"those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31).
Therefore,
will you lose another pound of
WAIT
with me today
by
abiding in the ONE who abides IN you
no matter what circumstance you are IN?
