The first verse I read this morning~
"Let the morning bring me word of YOUR unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in YOU.
Show me the way I should go,
for to YOU I entrust my life" (Psalm 143:8)
I read through the verse
and it makes me feel so good
that I immediately go onto the next thing
as I think~
Oh I TRUST GOD
&
Oh I KNOW GOD will direct me today
&
Oh my life is GODS
because
I love GOD'S WORD.
But then why I am not TRUSTING the ONE
whose WORD I just read?
I missed it.
The most important word.
The first word.
LET~
To ALLOW
To GIVE PERMISSION
To GIVE THE GREEN LIGHT.
The first word is the first action
that I am to take,
that you are to take,
but what do I do?
Move so quickly that
I missed it
because just reading isn’t enough because
I have to slow down
and eat every WORD slowly
and
LET IT~
To ALLOW
To GIVE PERMISSION
To GIVE THE GREEN LIGHT~
so that it permeates through my being
by LETTING GOD become an ACTION
so that HE goes from my head
to my heart
all the way to my toes.
As GOD tells me again,
"Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in HIM" (Psalm 34:8).
How do you TASTE something without taking the action to put it in your mouth?
GOD IS THE GOD OF ACTION. GOD doesn't give up
as HE keeps INVITING everyone into HIS PRESENCE
and all we have to do is
LET HIM~
"Satisfy us in the morning with YOUR unfailing love,
that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days" (Psalm 90:14).
TO SATISFY~
"to fill or meet a want or need" (Lexicon).
PERMISSION GRANTED.
"Let the morning bring me, _________,* (PUT YOUR NAME)
word of YOUR unfailing love,
for I, _________,* have put my trust in YOU.
Show me the way I, _________,* should go,
for to YOU I, _________,* entrust my life".
Therefore
LET'S LET GOD do HIS thing
for
"YOUR word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path" (Psalm 119:105)
