Day 12: God Wants Everyone

What does GOD want from EVERYONE?

EVERYONE!

HE CALLS all HIS "kids" to HIS HEART.

The GOD who CREATED each one of us,

wants ALL of us.

The GOD who

went to great lenghts

by

sending HIS SON

to earth

as a BABY, 

so HE would walk this earth as a MAN, 

to then die on a cross

like every other person who was deemed GUILTY.

For

JESUS wore GUILYT AS SIN,

because

HE wore EVERY SIN common to MAN, 

by taking our PUNISHMENT

so we would never have to.

Who would do this?

A LOVING GOD who would go to great lengths

to RESCUE every one of HIS CREATIONS

from the reality of a hell that does exist.

I am OVERWHELMED with great sadness for

every lost soul,

for whom

JESUS is waiting for with open arms to RECEIVE.

HE doesn't ask questions.

HE doesn't ask you to prove your goodness.

HE doesn't ask you anything

except,

WILL YOU BE MINE?

Will you RECEIVE my FORGIVENESS?

Will you WANT ME, because I WANT you?

Don't we all want to be WANTED.

Don't you?

And THERE HE IS. 

JESUS.

So GENTLE.

So KIND.

So LOVING.

So PEACEFUL.

So TENDER.

So INNOCENT.

And all HE WANTS is

you, me, and everyone else.

Is there an EVERYONE in your life

who FEARS coming to JESUS,

because they FEAR CONDEMNATION?

But

"There is no fear in LOVE [dread does not exist]. But perfect

 (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear,

 because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment,

 so the one who is afraid [of GOD'S judgment] is not perfected in love

[has not grown into a sufficient understanding of GOD'S love].

  We love, because HE first loved us" 

(I John 4:17-19).

Oh I FEARED GOD, but not in a reverence kind of FEAR.

I FEARED that I would be punished

 if I looked up to HIM.

Crazy right?

But that was the theology I was taught,

 and what I BELIEVED.

So sad.

So true.

But maybe I needed to think that,

because when I finally got to KNOW GOD, 

HE was nothing like the GOD who I thought,

for

GOD IS LOVE. 

Truly a Christian-ese statement,

but when you experience

HIS PERFECT LOVE

that is clothed in

HIS SON,

there is no turning back

to

not WANTING THE GOD WHO WANTS EVERYONE.

Why this sentiment this morning?

Because as you scan the world right now

and see the devastation caused by

of an uncontrollable hurricane and tornados,

and all the great loss,

you may wonder where is GOD.

Oh HE IS HERE!

For GOD so LOVES the world that HE wants no one to PERISH. 

To PERISH,

 when death comes knocking at your door.

Oh we will all die.

And we will all spend ETERNITY somewhere.

Either WITH GOD or WITHOUT GOD. 

So even though we experience the trials of life,

LIFE isn't about this LIFE.

It is about our AFTER LIFE on earth.

GOD IS LOVE. 

So where is GOD when the world is falling apart.

Oh HE is WAITING PATIENTLY.

"The LORD is not slow in keeping HIS promise,

 as some understand slowness.

 Instead HE is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish,

but everyone to come to repentance"

(2 Peter 3:9).

Now if you ask me, that is LOVE.

For one day LIFE as we know it on this earth will end for ALL. 

And a NEW EARTH will exist where there will be

no more tears,

no more sadness.

no more hurricanes,

no more cancer,

no more division,

no more ___________.

For that is why we ALL NEED JESUS.

To take us to our PERFECT HOME

where we LIVE HAPPILY EVERY AFTER.

An INVITATION to ALL.

For

"Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved”

(Romans 10:13)

The time is NOW.

JESUS IS HERE.

For HE WAS BORN

For HE DID DIE.

For HE DID RISE.

Do you have JESUS?

The TIME IS NOW. 

Spread HIS WORD.
