You look to the left.
Dead flowers.
You look to the right,
Dead flowers.
You look straight ahead.
Dead flowers.
Where is THE JOY?
How can JOY sprout up in the desert?
Does JOY have to be SEEN to be experienced?
Or is it that
REAL JOY
is a
JOY
that shows up in the
darkest
dead
dry
spaces and places
so that you
experience
REAL JOY
that never leaves.
Look to the left.
"O GOD, YOU are my GOD; with deepest longing I will seek YOU..."
Look the right. "My soul [my life, my very self] thirsts for YOU, my flesh longs and sighs for YOU..."
Look straight ahead. "In a dry and weary land where there is no water..."
And there HE is. "So I have gazed upon YOU in the sanctuary,To see YOUR power and YOUR glory.Because YOUR lovingkindness is better than life,My lips shall praise YOU"
*(Psalm 63)
So does JOY have to be SEEN to be experienced?
No, as I beg to differ.
Ready. Get Set.
"May the GOD of hope fill you with all JOY and peace in believing
, so that by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT you may abound in hope"
(Romans 15:13, AMP)
Look to the left.
Look to the right
Look straight ahead.
"I'VE GOT JOY"
