It comes out of left field while you were looking right.
You didn't plan for it,
because TRIALS don't have a RSVP.
But what if you did receive an invitation
that announces the TRIAL that you are about to experience,
but you get to RSVP
with a NO WAY!
Because who wants a TRIAL?
I sure don't. I sure don't like them.
But maybe they do come with an invitation of preparation~
"Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial
which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you" (I Peter 4:12)
BELOVED, I am sending you a TRIAL.
How can you not trust someone who addresses you as BELOVED
and then HE tells you to~
"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing" (James 1:2-4)
Just what if TRIALS were NOT AN OPTION, where would FAITH be?
Maybe it is all about our seeing JESUS walking on the water
above the TRIAL with us
as HE takes us deeper into a FAITH walk
that we have never been before
because HE has so much more for us to experience
IN HIM
even though you see the sharks biting below.
JOY becomes a reality
as JESUS takes you beyond the
TRIAL
because maybe just maybe the
TRIAL
has nothing about you or I
but all about HIM
who wants to walk on water with
you & I.
So BELOVED let's
make JESUS our ONLY OPTION that we see
despite the TRIALS
as we are
"constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in CHRIST],
steadfast and patient in distress,
devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength]' (Romans 12:12 AMP)
because
a TRIAL is a TRIAL,
yet pales to what GOD will do
despite the TRIAL.
Oh TRIAL you will not win the battle
because it is won by the ONE who will
