As my hubby and I have been traveling,
we are in a different TIME zone
so our body clocks are way off.
When it is 8 am it feels 3 am,
so what TIME is it really?
It is NOW
because
TIME is still TIME
as it
keeps ticking no matter where you are.
TIME always moves forward,
even if you try to rewind the clock,
because TIME is something that you can never get back
no matter how hard you try.
We can't CHANGE TIME but
there is always TIME for CHANGE
because
GOD tells us so~
“FORGET the former things; Do not dwell on the past.
See, I am doing a new thing!” (Isaiah 43:18).
Dwelling on & Fixating on
the TIME that has PASSED
inhibits you from living in the present
and facing the future.
Isn’t the future
the unknowns of tomorrow & the “what ifs”
that we fear?
THE PAST
encompasses anything that happens from this second back
to the day you were born.
But how do we FORGET something
that we did or someone else did?
TO FORGET~
To Remember, NOT. To Keep Regurgitating, NOT.
To keep picking off the scab of a bruise, NOT.
Yet
THE PAST
is part of you & I
as it really has happened.
Dwelling on yesterday
& the day before that
& the day before that
is like going up a down escalator
as it keeps you in the same place.
You & I can't remove our past.
Is there something from the past moment that is weighing you down?
Is it~
A wounded heart?
A I wish I didn't do this or that?
A I wish they didn't do this or that?
What do you need to say goodbye to that is following you everywhere,
infecting the present
because you just can't let go?
GOOD-BYE is PRESSING FORWARD~
"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which GOD has called me heavenward in CHRIST JESUS" (Philippians 3:13).
Oh how JESUS enriches our every second
that turns into minutes
that turns into hours
that turns
into days,
into months,
into years
and then into an ETERNITY where
TIME stands STILL
without sorrow, hurt, grief, and regrets~
"And GOD will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away...”
Because GOD means what HE says and says what HE means~
"Then HE who sat on the throne said,
'Behold, I make all things new.' "
(Revelation 21:4-5)
Because
GOD WILL TURN ALL THINGS FOR THE GOOD.OF THOSE WHO LOVE HIM
(Romans 8:28).
Therefore
make this second the
TIME FOR CHANGE~
