My HEART is SAD.
It is SAD when I experience
the SADNESS that is the HEARTS of others.
The SADNESS
because of a loss,
whether relationally or financially,
The SADNESS
because of a loss
that is due to health issues
or an unexpected circumstance that rocks their world.
The SADNESS
that others don't even know
that I am SAD about,
because of the
great void in their HEART
that JESUS is waiting to fill,
which is the greatest SADNESS of all.
And why should I even care.
Because those HEARTS that are void of JESUS
can cause SADNESS in other's lives,
without them even knowing it.
Have you been hurt by another,
that leaves you SAD?
I am sure,
as we all have been hurt,
and I know I have hurt others,
without my even knowing.
Now that makes me SAD.
So what do you do with the
SADNESS?
Exactly what JESUS did with it.
"Forgive them for they don't know what they do"
(Luke 23: 34).
Oh the stance of great strength.
Oh the stance of great dignity.
To be bleeding from the wounds that have nailed you to the cross,
and your only saving GRACE is to
"Forgive them for they don't know what they do".
How many times do you FORGIVE?
Oh you never stop.
Do you have a deep wound in your heart
that was caused by another
that leaves you SAD?
Do you have a deep wound in your heart that you caused,
that has left you SAD?
Well today is the day to lose this pesky pound
that has the power to leave you with the weight of
BITTERNESS and ANGER.
So let's
FAST from this SADNESS.
It only takes a moment.
Ready. Get Set. Go.
"Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and
clamor [perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, fault-finding]
and slander be put away from you,
along with every kind of malice [all spitefulness, verbal abuse, malevolence].
Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely],
just as GOD in CHRIST also forgave you"
