LIVING THE ABUNDANT LIFE
when you
HAVE what you WANT when you WANT it.
CONTENTMENT~
LIVING THE ABUNDANT LIFE
when you
DON'T HAVE what you WANT when you WANT it.
Are you LIVING THE ABUNDANT LIFE?
Are you CONTENT in this very moment,
whether you have what you WANT
or DON'T HAVE what you WANT?
I bet you just thought about
what you don't have.
Oh I have.
And I can stay there for quite some time,
and before you know it
DISCONTENTMENT will overwhelm me,
as JESUS becomes buried beneath
SELF-PITY.
TRUTH BE TOLD.
I am human.
And I don't like when I am human.
I love who I am when
I AM absorbed with JESUS.
Fully SATISFIED,
CONTENTMENT in the highest degree.
And then a thought
will rush into my mind
reminding me of
BROKEN relationships,
BROKEN circumstances,
BROKEN feelings.
And then I am focused on the blank~
I WANT ___________.
I bet you could fill in the blank pretty quickly too,
if you thought about it or don't even have to think about it
because ____________ is first and foremost on your mind.
And then you hear the words~
"The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy.
I came that they may have and enjoy life,
and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]"
(John 10:10).
Oh the thief loves to erase what you do HAVE in a millisecond.
But then there is
JESUS
who fills in the blanks with
HIMSELF,
providing
THE ABUNDANT LIFE.
THE ABUNDANT LIFE
is not having all you WANT when you WANT it,
as it is having
JESUS,
who is all you
NEED
ALL THE TIME,
which makes
HIM all you WANT,
so you always
HAVE what you WANT ALL THE TIME.
Now that was a mouthful
and very Christian~ese,
but
TRUTH BE TOLD
when you whittle your
LIFE down to just little 'ole you
and
JESUS sitting with just little 'ole you,
you become
ABUNDANTLY FULL.
It so SUPERNATURAL
because only JESUS can FILL all the blanks in your
LIFE with HIMSELF.
What do you WANT that you don't have?
How about
filling in this blank line~

know how to get along and live humbly [in difficult times],
and I, _______________,
also know how to enjoy abundance and live in prosperity.
In any and every circumstance
I, _______________,
have learned the secret [of facing life],
whether well-fed or going hungry,
whether having an abundance or being in need.

can do all things [which HE has called me to do]
through Him who strengthens and empowers
me [to fulfill His purpose—
I, _______________,
am self-sufficient in CHRIST'S sufficiency;
I, _______________,
am ready for anything and equal to anything
through HIM
who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]"
(Philippians 4:12-13, with added ______).
Because a LIFE without JESUS
is a LIFE without.

ABUNDANT DAY.
