Day 11: A Second Of Faith

Once upon a time there was a woman.

A very sick woman

who was at the end of herself,

as she is tired of IMPOSSIBLE.

So what is she to do?

What are you to do when you are at the end of yourself?

She takes the

RISK OF FAITH~

"She said to herself, 'If I only touch HIS cloak, I will be healed'" (Matthew 9:21).

And FAITH made her do it~

"She came up behind HIM and TOUCHED the edge of HIS cloak,

and IMMEDIATELY her bleeding stopped"*

And it only took

THE TOUCH OF FAITH

for

JESUS to FEEL her TOUCH~

“Who touched me?” JESUS asked.

"But JESUS said, 'Someone touched ME; I know that power has gone out from ME'."*

HE didn't SEE her.

 HE didn't HEAR her.

But HE FELT her.

It was not HIS FAITH

 but her FAITH that took her to

take that very ONE SECOND

to turn an

IF ONLY

into an ACTION,

for that is what FAITH DOES.

FAITH SEES HIM

&

FAITH HEARS JESUS

because

FAITH BELIEVES IN HIM.

"Then the woman,

 seeing that she could not go unnoticed,

came trembling and fell at HIS feet.

In the presence of all the people,

she told why she had touched HIM

and how she had been instantly healed"*

FAITH never bothers JESUS.

FAITH always is a great interruption for JESUS,

for JESUS WILL always stop for you

right where you are,

in the midst of what you are

feeling & doing & being

because

FAITH takes you to the space & place

where you meet JESUS 

one on one

even in the midst of a crowd of crowds

all reaching out to TOUCH HIM too~

"Everyone tried to touch HIM, because healing power went out from HIM,

and HE healed everyone" 

*(Luke 6:19).

Because

JESUS 

is ALL you NEED

in every precious SECOND,

that HE stops just for you & for me,

and all at the same time,

yet it feels as if you are the only one in the room.

For JESUS takes you beyond

what you

FEEL in this very SECOND

and takes HIS SECOND

to

to speak to you~

"Then HE said to you, '___________", your faith has healed you. Go in peace'."

*(Luke 8:43-48)

It is for you & me & everyone else who

has THE FAITH to TOUCH HIM.

FAITH reaches out into the unknown to the KNOWN. 

Oh THE FAITH OF FAITH

that

TOUCHES the ONE who TOUCHES you.

What do you want? What do you need?

What if all your wants and needs can be met right now

in this very SECOND

and all it asks of you is to take

 THE STEP OF FAITH

to "TOUCH THE SKY"
