Oh you have heard this question~
If a tree falls in the woods and no one is present
to HEAR the sound when it falls
does it make a noise?
Hmm.
You know the answer, but then you scratch your head
and wonder maybe it doesn't.
But who is to know, because no one is there to know.
And then you rephrase the question~
If you were to make a noise in the woods and no one is present
to HEAR the noise you made
did you really make a noise?
Hmm.
You know the answer, but then you scratch your head
and wonder maybe you aren't heard.
But who is to know, because no one is there to know.
But then
GOD scratches HIS head
because HE is looking at you
and HEARING you
and wondering,
"Why don't you know that
I HEAR everything.
I heard the tree that fell, because I created it.
I heard you because I created you..
I HEAR all my creations
because
IT IS ABOUT ME
the ME who created you."
So if it is about THE ME, our Creator,
then it is about me & you & everyone else
since HE created us,
so maybe we can say
"IT IS ABOUT ME",
yet not in a prideful way.
You mean GOD, you created me?
Oh YES.
You mean GOD, you SEE me?
Oh YES.
You mean GOD, you HEAR me?
Oh YES.
And then GOD speaks,
"Do you BELIEVE ME"?
And then the silence gets deafening,
because you question if you
really BELIEVE GOD LOVES YOU.
Such a simple question that gets so complicated
when we just say the words
and don't live as if
GOD really means what HE says.
Oh GOD LOVES YOU beyond your comprehension.
If you and a tree were in a forest
and no one else was around
and then the tree fell
and then you let out a noise
would anyone HEAR?
Oh not just anyone
because GOD isn't an anyone.
Maybe it is GOD wondering
"Does anyone HEAR ME"?
Because HE was there
from the very beginning
creating the TREE
and maybe HIS first creations didn't HEAR HIM
when they ate the forbidden fruit.
Or maybe they did, for why would they hide?
So I ask you
DO YOU BELIEVE GOD LOVES YOU
so that
HE not only SEES you
but HE HEARS you
and all HE wants is
for me & for you & everyone else to
not only BELIEVE HIM
and scratch our heads
acting as if we don't BELIEVE HIM.
BELIEVING is just the beginning.
For RECEIVING takes you to the end of yourself
making you make a NOISE
that the heaven's hear
IT'S NOT ABOUT ME
because once you
RECEIVE GOD'S LOVE
you can sit in the middle of the forest
thanking GOD that HE provided the tree that fell
so you have some place to sit
when no one else is around.
But
I wonder if GOD wonders
if HE was the only person in a forest
when you were the only person in a forest
sitting on HIS tree
would you HEAR HIM?
"I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there?
My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth!
HE will not let you stumble; the ONE who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, HE who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.
The LORD HIMSELF watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.
The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night.
The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever" (Psalm 121).
Oh you will HEAR HIM
so that you have to speak,
even if it is only you in a forest
and say
