Day 1: Welcome To Reality

"It is the best of times and the worst of times" (Charles Dickens)

"A time to be born and a time to die;

A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.

A time to kill and a time to heal;

A time to tear down and a time to build up.

A time to weep and a time to laugh;

A time to mourn and a time to dance.

A time to throw away stones and a time to gather stones;

A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing.

A time to search and a time to give up as lost;

A time to keep and a time to throw away.

A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;

A time to keep silent and a time to speak.

A time to love and a time to hate;

A time for war and a time for peace" (Ephesians 3:1-8)

"It is the best of times and the worst of times"~

"Therefore we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid].

Though our outer self is [progressively] wasting away,

yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day by day.

 For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble]

is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond

all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]!

 So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable" (2 Corinthians 4: 16-18)

Even though "It is the best of times and the worst of times"
