The chocolate bunny ears are eaten.
The jelly beans have fallen to the bottom of the basket.
Now what?
Do you still hear the words of joy that
HE IS RISEN
or is JESUS being packed away until Christmas?
HE IS RISEN
isn't just an Easter Sunday text.
What gets in the way of living in the
REALITY
that
HE IS RISEN?
UN~SEEING FAITH ~
“Unless I see the nail marks in HIS hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into HIS side, I will not believe” (John 20:25).
Show me. Prove to me.
Give me what I want when I want it
and then I will BELIEVE.
Oh how JESUS RISES to the call~
"Though the doors were locked, JESUS came and stood among them and said,
'Peace be with you!' Then HE said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here; see MY hands.
Reach out your hand and put it into my side.
STOP DOUBTING & BELIEVE'" (John 20: 26-27).
Oh how I wish
JESUS would walk through my door
and show me HIS hands
when I am in the midst of
UN~SEEN FAITH~
when what I want when I want it is not what I am getting
and all that I have is
UN~SEEN FAITH.
But isn't that what FAITH is?
FAITH is UNSEEN
FAITH is WAIT
FAITH is HOPE
FAITH is PEACE
FAITH wouldn't exist unless
HE HAS RISEN once & for all.
Even though we can't touch the nail holes in HIS hands & feet
when DOUBT creeps in,
doesn't
put JESUS back in the grave
because
JESUS HEARS & JESUS LISTENS~
"Then JESUS told him, 'Because you have seen ME, you have believed;
blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed'" (John 20: 29).
JESUS always shows up like HE did to Thomas
because JESUS always hears & answers our cries
meeting us right where we are.
And then HE RISES in our heart as we shout like Thomas did~
"Thomas said to HIM, 'My LORD and MY GOD!'"
Oh may THE RISEN JESUS meet you right where you are in this moment of time
because HE is here~
for the tomb is empty
just as HE said it would be.
UNSEEN FAITH is FAITH~
"Now faith is the certainty of things hoped for, a proof of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1)
"STOP DOUBTING & BELIEVE”
because
even DOUBT can't take away
your
RESTORED RENEWED REALITY
that
