Today begins our
40 DAY "WEIGHT" LOSS JOURNEY~
when we will
LOSE A POUND A DAY,
those pesky pounds that you just can't keep off.
The first pound to go is
YOU
which begins with
FASTING
from
SELF~
because
YOUR "SELF"
weighs you down.
Think about it.
When you & when I~
"TRUST IN & RELY CONFIDENTLY on
SELF
with all our heart & rely on our
'SELF'S'
insight or understanding
&
In all our ways know & acknowledge & recognize
SELF..."
is
YOUR "SELF"
"able to make your paths straight & smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]?"

Hmm.... when
SELF
takes over it never ends well.
When things are going great,
MY SELF
likes to step in to mess things up, because you never know when the other shoe is going to drop.
When things are going not so great,
MY SELF
likes to step in and feed the woe is me spirit.
How about you~
When things are going ___________ how does YOUR SELF try to take over?
Does it grab the hand of food
that masquerades
To bring comfort
To solve problems
To alleviate anxiety
To _________?
Or do you grab the hand of
Shopping
Alcohol
Or _______?
Anything else to take you where you don’t want to “feel” your “SELF”
Do you need a divorce from Your SELF?
I divorced myself long ago,
the day
JESUS
reached down & grabbed me out of the pit that I was in
because
SELF was getting in the way.
At the moment I grabbed HIS hand,
Instead of the hand of food,
And the divorce was final.
But do I still try to get
SELF
back into my life?
Oh yes, all the time.
I think that SHE can convince me that I need HER
or I will be out of control .
SHE is part of my three persons~
ME, MYSELF & I.
But now I have another three persons
who replace my mine~
GOD
JESUS
HOLY SPIRIT.
All WHO I need~ Alimony for life
Do you need a divorce from yourself?
I know a great JUDGE who will do it for you &
HE won’t even judge you.
Just look up & grab
HIS HAND
The moment your are tempted to grab the hand of an imposter
so that you can
receive all that HE has for you.
So let's FAST from
SELF
today~
Every time you start depending on
ME, MYSELF & I
Look up instead
&
"Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart
& do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
In all your ways know & acknowledge & recognize HIM,
& HE will make your paths straight & smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD [with reverent awe & obedience] & turn [entirely] away from evil.
It will be health to your body
[your marrow, your nerves, your sinews, your muscles—all your inner parts]
& refreshment (physical well-being) to your bones"
