He doesn't ask for anything,
as it is never about him,
because it is always about someone else
because that is who he is~
my man whose birthday we celebrate today.
I am so humbled that GOD has chosen
Hoyt to be my husband,
who is a man of GOD
who wears JESUS like a piece of skin,
because that is just who he is
and will always be
because
he is all heart
every second of every day
and he doesn't even have to say any words.
I thank GOD for
knitting him together in his mother's womb,
breathing life into his being
on this day of yesteryear
when he entered into this world.

when HE spoke
HIS LAST WORDS
of the ultimate sacrifice that would bring
JOY to all mankind~
"IT IS FINISHED".
JESUS DID IT so we never have to.
HE GAVE HIS LIFE
so HE could give us our
REAL LIFE
that lives beyond the CROSS.
Today as we begin
our JOURNEY TO EASTER
drawing closer to
JESUS
by SURRENDERING
by FASTING from
those pesky pounds that strive to rob from our lives
THE PEACE
THE JOY
THE LOVE
that was birthed on that
RESURRECTION SUNDAY
where there were no chocolate bunnies,
but an empty grave
for HE HAS RISEN
so we will too!
Are you ready to lose the first "pound"?
Are you ready to make room for more of
JESUS
as you become less.
The first pound to go is
YOU
and that begins with
FASTING from yourSELF,
because
YOUR "SELF"
weighs you down.
Think about it.
When YOU

SELF
with all your heart & rely on your
SELF'S
insight or understanding &
In all your ways know & acknowledge & recognize
SELF..."*
Is YOUR "SELF"
"able to make your paths straight & smooth
[removing obstacles that block your way]?"

Hmm.
When SELF takes over it never ends well.
Do you need a divorce from YOUR SELF?
I divorced myself long ago,
the day
JESUS
reached down & grabbed me out of the pit that I was in
because
SELF
was getting in the way.
At the moment I grabbed HIS hand,
the divorce was final.
Are you ready to divorce YOUR SELF?
I know a great JUDGE who will do it for you &
HE won’t even judge you,
because it is YOU who HE wants.
"Humble yourselves [with an attitude of repentance and insignificance] in the presence of the LORD, and HE will exalt you [HE will lift you up, HE will give you purpose]"
(James 4:10).
Oh the STANCE OF HUMILITY
that surrenders
YOUR SELF
is where YOU become YOUR best SELF.
So let's FAST from SELF
today.
Every time you start depending on
yourSELF
deny YOUR SELF
and
