Day 1: Blessed Are You

GOOD MORNING AUGUST!

A NEW month.

A NEW day.

A NEW second

to EXPERIENCE

a

NEW PEACE in a non-peaceful circumstance

and a

NEW HOPE in a non-hopeful circumstance

and a

NEW JOY in a non-joyful circumstance.

And it begins with a

BE-ATTITUDE!

TO BE is TO BE BLESSED. 

For JESUS begins HIS SERMON ON THE MOUNT

with the Word

BLESSED!

A WORD that is so much more than just a WORD.

For BLESSED is a JESUS EXPERIENCE.

TO BE or NOT TO BE BLESSED,

is a CHOICE.

I will let BLESSED speak for itself

as you ABSORB it's many meanings

throughout the

BEATITUDES.

So I ask you,

Do you want TO BE or not to BE

BLESSED?.

 “BLESSED

~ spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired.

 BLESSED~

 forgiven, refreshed by GOD'S grace.

BLESSED~

 inwardly peaceful, spiritually secure, worthy of respect.

BLESSED~

joyful, nourished by God’s goodness.

BLESSED~

 content, sheltered by God’s promises.

BLESSED~

 anticipating God’s presence, spiritually mature.

BLESSED~

 spiritually calm with life-joy in God’s favor.

BLESSED~

 comforted by inner peace and God’s love.

BLESSED~

 morally courageous and spiritually alive with life-joy in God’s goodness"

(Matthew 5 AMP).

Oh TO BE BLESSED

is the sweet spot of

SURRENDER to JESUS

 who BLESSES one and all

in ALL things.

To BE BLESSED

when you don't feel like you are being BLESSED.

To BE BLESSED

when you don't feel like being a BLESSING to someone else.

TO BE BLESSED

when you are being rejected.

TO BE BLESSED

when you being misunderstood

TO BE BLESSED

when you are being persecuted.

TO BE BLESSED

when you are beyond weary and tired.

TO BE BLESSED

when this, ____________, or that _______________,

is or isn't happening.

Oh I know what is like when you feel like you will never stop crying,

when hopelessness and despair become your best friends.

And then you hear the word

BLESSED ARE YOU...

that makes you look up.

And THERE JESUS IS

 with HIS arms open wide,

calling you to

COME to HIM,

for HE has so much to give you

that you have to drop whatever is burdening you

so you can

RECEIVE ALL that HE has for you.

Oh BLESSED AUGUST

begins right now where you are.

Oh BE BLESSED

and

have a

BEATITUDE

because

JESUS said,

"BLESSED ARE YOU"
