Beyond Normal

Are we really living in our NEW NORMAL?

I know that social distancing has become a NEW word in our vocabulary

I know that waiting has taken on a NEW Meaning.

I know that this moment in time is being called the NEW NORMAL,

But what is NORMAL?

Day to Day. Routine. Ordinary.

I wouldn't say that what is happening right now is

Ordinary.

It is different. It is life changing

It is not NORMAL.

What was NORMAL in your life before this all happened?

A hug? A touch?

"Control" to do what you wanted to do when you wanted to do it

because you could.?

As we were doing what we NORMALLY do,

without even thinking about it.

And now

all is so very different

all is so very NEW,

but it is really the same

as we are all left with

ourselves who will never look at

NORMAL as the same.

As we are all called to a forced stop,,

a forced time when the only thing

NORMAL is you, but are you really?

WHO are you becoming as you have no choice but to

really to get to know YOU, since you can't get away from you~

unless you look beyond yourself to the ONE who takes you beyond yourself

so that YOU are no longer the only person in the room

as YOU hear the words~

“Come to ME, all you who are weary and burdened,

and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28-30)

Get up. Rise. Walk away from YOU.

Oh it doesn't feel NORMAL as YOU are the only YOU that YOU know,

but oh how HE knows you way better than YOU know YOURSELF

because

Who creates someone HE doesn't know?

Oh WHO is the "NEW" YOU that you are discovering in this so called "NEW" NORMAL.

Are you embracing the ONE who knows you better than YOU know yourself?

Be careful, oh so very careful

because as you do you will never be the same.

Oh we are all being stretched beyond ourselves,

but oh to become so much more than we every could imagine.

"HE must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30).

Why did GOD create a caterpillar if HE didn't want it to become a butterfly?

Let's SOAR above us as we were called to live beyond NORMAL

and maybe just maybe to walk upon the

"OCEANS" (listen to the song below)
