When asked
"How are you"
do you immediately respond~
"Fine" or "Good"
just because that is easy to say?
But "How are you" REALLY?
I have a new answer
to
"How am I" ~
BECOMING
Yup
BECOMING
As I am
the
Clay
in the palm of
my
FATHER'S HANDS
Who is
Molding me & Shaping me
into the likeness of
HIS SON
For
"GOD knew what HE was doing from the very beginning. HE decided from the outset to shape the lives of those who love HIM along the same lines as the life of His SON" (Romans 8:29)
Does it hurt?
At times yes, and especially during this season of life
with the
Stretching
the
Spinning
and the
worse is the
Firing in the kiln
when the temperature gets really hot
wondering when will it stop.
BUT then
in
HIS PERFECT TIMING
I realize that I have BECOME so much more than who I was
as GOD is smoothing out the rough edges.
"Yet you, LORD, are our FATHER. We are the clay, you are the POTTER;
we are all the work of YOUR HAND" (Isaiah 64:8)
Have I arrived? Have you?
Oh no,
as this is just the beginning
because
this pot gets cracked.
but
it is still a pot~
HIS Perfect Pot~
"For we are GOD'S masterpiece. HE has created us anew in CHRIST JESUS" (Ephesians 2:10)
and I say
"Thank YOU for making me so wonderfully complex!
YOUR workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it" (Psalm 139:14).
So I ask again~
How are you?
Are you on spinning, being stretched or in the firing stage?
However you answer
remember that
you are
HIS Perfect Pot
Clay in HIS Hands
as
HE continues to
"cause everything to work together for the good of those who love GOD and are called according to HIS purpose for them" (Romans 8:28).
HIS Perfect Cracked Pot
Filled to the brim
with
HIS SON~
"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this
all-surpassing power is from GOD and not from us" (2 Corinthians 4:7)
GOD'S
Transforming power
working in
Our Clay Pots
that
will never get so cracked that they will crumble~
"We are
hard pressed on every side, but not crushed;
perplexed, but not in despair;
persecuted, but not abandoned;
struck down, but not destroyed" (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)
Therefore,
let's enjoy the ride
on the
POTTER'S Wheel
because
How are you~
Perfect in the
Palms
of
Your
"POTTER'S HANDS" (listen to the song below)
