I bet you are as everyone is~
The FALALALALALA
of the
CHRISTmas SEASON.
The speed limit of life has increased.
If the police gave tickets for how fast we speed through the day
I would probably be arrested.
I have to do it ~ ALL.
I will do it ~ ALL.
I should do it ~ ALL.
I will do it ALL NOW
&
then I will
SLOW DOWN
later after all the
FALALALALALA.
And then it hits.
Weariness.
Burdened.
Exhaustion.
BUT it is
THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR!
You know, it is
BABY JESUS' BIRTHDAY!
We may miss it if we don't
SPEED UP.
And then it happens.
You are forced to
STOP.
And then you realize that you have missed it
because you have
missed
JESUS.
HE taps you on your shoulder and whispers in your ear~
BE STILL MY CHILD.
I AM right here.
I never left you.
I am not a season.
I AM NOT a cookie to be decorated,
I AM NOT a gift to be bought.
I AM NOT a tradition to be followed.
I AM NOT a tree to be decorated
because
I was born to to be hung on a tree
so that I could
Live with you
&
Be with you
&
Carry you.
And all you have to do is read the
SIGN~
BE STILL!
Because if you don't
you will miss
ME!
You will miss this precious moment right now,
As I AM in the moment and
want to be the KING of every one of your moments.
"Then JESUS said,
'Come to me, all of you who are weary & carry heavy burdens, & I will give you rest.
Take MY yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I AM humble & gentle at heart,
& you will find rest for your souls. For MY yoke is easy to bear, & the burden I give you is light.'” (Matthew 11:28-30).
So what if instead of all of our

would
BE STILL
&
STOP
speeding through life & missing
HIM~
