ONCE UPON A TIME
"IT" happened
& you don't even remember IT happening
but IT did
because IT changed you.
The moment IT happened
you knew that you would never be the same.
Maybe you wished IT never happened
or
Maybe you are overjoyed IT happened
but
either way
IT had a powerful of way of changing you.
What is your IT that was or what is right now?
Tears fill my being and I don't know why
because I am not thinking about anything specific.
Maybe it is that my IT
is just plan ole change.
The change that I wish did or didn't wish happen.
ONCE UPON A TIME when my children where little children
all under one roof~
Is that IT?
ONCE UPON A TIME when I was battling the monster of bulimia~
Is that IT?
ONCE UPON A TIME when my father was still living~
Is that IT?
Or is IT that Life keeps moving in a forward motion
with each Tick Tick Tick
that initiates change beyond our control.
But then
IT happens~
HE doesn't change
Never Ever Never
yet
HE changes you & me
in the midst of our
IT
the moment we invite
HIM
into our places & spaces that overtakes our soul
that we have no control over.
HIS PEACE
covers every IT that is beyond our control
by transcending our understanding with such contentment beyond our control
that moves us forward with every changing
Tick Tick Tick
when our eyes are not
FIXED
on IT
but on
HIM
who
ONCE UPON A TIME
was born to change
IT all
that
changes us
Forever Ever & Ever
no matter
how big or small our
IT is
because
HE is always IT!
"Therefore we do not lose heart.
Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,
