Do you love JESUS more than you
LOVE
football, shopping, food, your family, and ___________?
Do you love JESUS more than the beach or mountains or sea?
DO YOU LOVE JESUS MORE THAN YOU LOVE YOURSELF?
Think about it.
If we LOVED JESUS more than we LOVED ourselves
then we would
Live as LOVED
as CHERISHED
as ACCEPTED
as SIGNIFICANT
as SECURE
and everything & everyone that we
LOVE
will still be
LOVED
yet we would be such a greater version of self
because
JESUS would be our greatest LOVE
&
when
HE IS
we have
PEACE like a river & a
HOPE that enables us to soar & a
JOY that is indescribable.
IF YOU LOVE JESUS MORE THAN YOU LOVE YOURSELF
you will love everyone and everything with a different love that will explode the love of JESUS.
DO YOU LOVE JESUS MORE THAN YOU LOVE YOURSELF?
"Then JESUS said to HIS disciples, “If anyone wishes to follow ME [as My disciple],
he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests],
and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come]
and follow ME [believing in ME, conforming to MY example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in ME].
For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death],
but whoever loses his life [in this world] for
MY sake will find it [that is, life with ME for all eternity].
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success],
but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Matthew 16:24-26)
Look in the mirror and ask yourself
"DO I LOVE JESUS MORE THAN I LOVE MYSELF?"
& listen to your response.
