I truly believed
that once
I received
JESUS
in my life
that if you cut off my arm it wouldn't hurt.
I truly believed
that once
I received
JESUS
in my life
that I was exempt
from
ever
hurting again
because living the life
without
JESUS
was hurting me
so much
that
once
JESUS
came into my life to save me from myself
then who could want anything else.
It was euphoric
I still remember that moment when my
head was connected to my heart
&
GOD
became more than just a man on a throne
watching my every move
&
JESUS
became more than a man
who shared a holiday with Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny.
But there are times
when I become disconnected
with the
ONE
who saved my life the moment I gave HIM my life
because
I will hurt~
at times
&
I will suffer~
at times,
but that is why
I have to have JESUS in my life
because
I have HOPE~
Always.
I have PEACE~
Always.
I am LOVED~
Always.
Because
in the midst of
the hurting times & the healing times & the rejoicing times
JESUS is ALWAYS
HOPE
PEACE
&
LOVE!
I do have
JESUS
in my life
&
if I never received
JESUS
in my life
would I
or
would you
really be alive?
"But GOD, being [so very] rich in mercy, because of HIS great and wonderful love
with which HE loved us,
even when we were [spiritually] dead and separated from HIM because of our sins,
HE made us [spiritually] alive together with CHRIST (for by HIS grace—
HIS undeserved favor and mercy—you have been saved from GOD'S judgment).
And HE raised us up together with HIM [when we believed],
and seated us with HIM in the heavenly places, [because we are] in CHRIST JESUS,
[and HE did this] so that in the ages to come HE might [clearly] show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of HIS grace in [HIS] kindness toward us in CHRIST JESUS [by providing for our redemption]" (Ephesians 2:4-7 AMP)
