Oh If I could have my way
I would want
EVERYONE
to
know
JESUS.
To not just know
HIM~
but to meet
HIIM
in the deep crevices of their heart.
To meet not just a man.
To meet not just a "religious" man.
To meet not just a good guy.
To meet not just a man who is
remembered as a baby in a manager.
BUT
to meet a man
who
walked as a man
who
felt like a man~
"And being in agony..."
who
"prayed more earnestly..."
who
felt more than pain than any man could~
"Then HIS sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground" (Luke 22:44)
Because
JESUS
is just not a man,
is just not a religious man,
is just not a good guy,
was just not an ordinary baby born in a manger~
BUT
a
KING
who gave up
HIS ROYALTY
rights~
"For I have come down from heaven not to do MY own will & purpose but to do the will & purpose of HIM Who sent ME..."
As it wasn't about HIM~
"And this is the will of HIM Who sent ME,
that I should not lose any of all that HE has given ME,
but that I should give new life & raise [them all] up at the last day..."
Because it was always about
you & I~
"For this is MY FATHER'S will & HIS purpose, that everyone who sees the SON &
believes in & cleaves to & trusts in & relies on HIM
should have eternal life, &I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day" (John 6:38-40 AMPC).
If only
JESUS
could have
HIS WAY
then
EVERYONE
would not just
know
HIM~
but they would

HIM

not just a man,
not just a "religious" man,
not just a good guy,
not just a man who is
remembered as a baby in a manager
Because
JESUS
has done what no other man has ever done~
"Here is what it is.
CHRIST died for our sins, just as Scripture said HE would.
HE was buried.
HE was raised from the dead on the third day,
just as Scripture said HE would be" (I Corinthians 15:3-4)
Because
JESUS IS MORE THAN JUST A MAN!
