Ouch that Hurt

OUCH that hurt~

what you said to me & what you did to me.

OUCH that hurt.

I am sure you have said it

& I am sure you have felt it

as

I know it so well.

OUCH that hurt.

Joseph said it

after he looked into the eyes of the ones who hurt him,

his own brothers~

"BUT

as for you, you meant evil against me..." (Genesis 50:20)

as he acknowledged his pain

and then that three letter word followed~

BUT!

The word that changes everything,

especially when it is followed by another three letter word~

GOD.

Put those two words together & you have a whole other story

that changes everything~

"BUT GOD MEANT IT FOR GOOD" (Genesis 50:20).

OUCH that hurt

BUT GOD DID SAY~

"For MY thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways MY ways" (Isaiah 55:8)

Because

GOD

sees beyond all our

"OUCHES"

as

HE

has such a grandeur plan

beyond our

pain that doesn't make sense

because it continues to hurt.

What OUCH do you need to surrender to GOD?

BUT

one moment

when you least expect it

you will & I will

shout

"BUT GOD MEANT IT FOR GOOD"

because

GOD DID REALLY SAY

HE WILL~

"bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,

the oil of joy instead of mourning,

and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair" (Isaiah 61:3)
