We got the call.
Someone thought it would be fun
to use our credit card.
They got to use it, but now they can't
because we got the call.
Someone was watching.
Someone knew that the purchase
was out of the ordinary
therefore
we got the call
&
are no longer free to use that credit card.
The replacement was placed immediately in the mail.
It will look exactly like the old card.
It will have my name on it,
yet something will be changed~
the number,
the expiration date
& even
the little three digit security number~
OUT WITH THE OLD & IN WITH THE NEW~
just because
someone was pretending to
be someone that they weren't~
IDENTITY THEFT~
but
Someone was watching.
Someone was protecting us.
Someone cared enough to make the call.
SOMEONE IS WATCHING~

SOMEONE KNOWS
SOMEONE SEES

SECURE in our FATHER'S Arms~
FREE to live above
the worry that
someone will steal
my identity

SOMEONE IS WATCHING

SOMEONE

not my name
but everything else.

GOD

no longer having to pretend
to be someone I am not.
I have the same fingerprints,

a new heart.

So what happens when I try to use my old card?
It gets declined. It is dead.
So what happens when I try to do the same old things that I used to do?
They just don't work anymore.
They are dead.
So why try to do something that doesn't work anymore?
What do you keep doing the same way,
expecting different results,
yet always leads you to a dead end?
