Day 8: Going Deeper

GOD

is doing a work in me,

that I wish

HE

wasn't doing

because

HE

is taking me

Deeper into my faith

by

taking me

Deeper into HIS HOPE

Deeper into HIS PEACE

Deeper into HIS LOVE

Deeper into

SURRENDERING

all of me

for more of

HIM~

& I don't like it.

Well,

I don't like it now,

but I know that when I look back

I will love it

because

"those who HOPE in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31)

which is such a better place.

Are you being challenged right now to go deeper in your faith?

Picture yourself digging a hole.

The deeper you dig

the darker it gets~

as it is further away from the light.

But when

GOD

takes us

Deeper into our faith

it gets brighter

&

Lighter

because

you have no choice

but to look up

directly into the

LIGHT~

into the

SON

Who never tires of

looking at us

no matter how dark is dark

because

HE

experienced

the darkest of dark

on the cross

because

HIS

thoughts

were on

you

&

I.

JESUS

never lost sight

because

HE

was focused on us.

So

If

JESUS

had to go deeper

why do I think that I am exempt?

Thank you

GOD

for taking me deeper

into the shadow of your protected wings

as you continue to envelope me with

Your

HOPE

Your

PEACE

Your

LOVE

because

I will

&

will you

Put HIM in Your Story

&

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers& sisters,

whenever you, ________(*put your name)

face trials of many kinds,

because you, ______,*

know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

Let perseverance finish its work so that you, ______, *

may be mature and complete,

not lacking anything." (James 1:2-4)

One day

I will look back on this journey

&

I will smile

because

GOD

loves me so much

that

HE

wants

to take me

deeper into my faith

so that

I become less

&

HE

becomes

more

because

HE

is so much more

than I could ever be.

"For the Joy of the LORD is my, ________'s (put your name) strength"

(Nehemiah 8:10)
